JOB DESCRIPTION BUSINESS DEVELOPPER

I. JOB DESCRIPTION

The Business Developer’s role is to identify and seize business opportunities in order to generate new customers, develop new products and services and penetrate new markets.
II.  RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

Analyse the market and identify opportunities:

  • Study market trends, customer needs and competition.
  • Identify high-potential market segments.
  • Detecting new technologies and innovations likely to have an impact on the company.

Dévelop a sales strategy:

  • Defining sales development objectives in line with the company’s overall strategy.
  • Build a precise action plan to achieve the objectives set.
  • Identify the necessary resources and associated budgets.

Prospecting and building customer loyalty:

  • Identify and qualify potential customers.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
  • Negotiate contracts and finalise sales.

Managing partnerships:

  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships.
  • Negotiate and manage partnership contracts.

Monitor and impove performances:

  • Collect and analyse sales data.
  • Measuring the effectiveness of actions taken.
  • Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions.

III.  SKILLS REQUIRED :

  • In-depth knowledge of the market and the competition.
  • Mastery of prospecting and sales techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • strategic vision and a spirit of innovation.
  • Rigorous and organised.

V. TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bac +5 in business school, marketing or management.
  • Training in business development or entrepreneurship.
  • Experiences in sales or marketing is an asset.
